A 6.2 kW off-grid system on a tiled roof of a detached house, installed without damaging the covering.

A tiled roof is the surface that demands the most care: the mounting feet have to reach the rafters and the tiles must seat back properly, or the first rain finds a way in. Here the structure was fixed to the roof framing and the covering was reinstated.
The house draws from the panels during the day and from stored energy in the evening. Being off-grid, it is unaffected by outages.
