Ground-Mounted Solar System for Agricultural Irrigation

In the irrigation season consumption concentrates in daylight hours: the pump runs when the sun is strongest. That is one of the rare load profiles that lines up directly with solar output, and it is what makes ground-mounted systems so effective in farming.

Where there is no roof area, or not enough, the panels go straight onto the land. A ground structure lets the panel angle be set to the latitude, and row spacing is left for maintenance access and shading.
